By virtue of a security agreement all vehicles for sale are in "as-is" condition (unless otherwise noted), free and clear of all liens and encumbrances. No express or implied warranties or representations whatsoever.
Deposit Terms:
A deposit of $700.00 is required to receive a bidder’s badge, payable in cash (in person) or credit card online. If the deposit is paid online, an additional non-refundable convenience fee of $20 will be charged to the customer’s bank or credit card account utilized for payment. The name on the bank account or credit card utilized to make the deposit must match the bidder name and driver’s license used to register for a bidder badge. This deposit serves as consideration for the contract and to hold a vehicle that the customer has successfully won the bid and agreed to purchase pending full payment. If the customer purchases multiple vehicles the $700 deposit will be applied to the purchase of the first vehicle paid for. If the customer does not purchase a vehicle, your refund will automatically be issued to your credit card or bank account used to make the deposit the following business day after the auction. Please allow 3-4 business days for the $700 refund to be issued to your account before contacting us. At the customer’s request, we can keep the deposit on their account for future auctions, or until the customer requests a refund as long as there are no outstanding charges on the customer’s account. **IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DEPOSIT ON FILE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AN ACCESS CODE!!**
The purchaser shall have two (2) business days to remit the remaining balance of the purchase price in the form of a cashier’s check, certified funds, or credit card. If the purchaser fails to complete payment in full within this time-frame, the transaction shall be considered in default, and the auction shall have the right to retain the $700.00 deposit as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. The buyer shall forfeit any and all rights to the vehicle and may be subject to the revocation of future purchasing privileges.
Buying at an auction is a very different experience from buying a car from a dealership. At Lehigh Valley Auto Auction we will try to do our best to ensure that you have a pleasant buying experience.
