Required Documents
Clear Title in Your Name
Valid Photo ID (Driver's License, or State Issued ID Card)
$40 Registration Fee (Covers 2 consecutive runs: 1 Wednesday and 1 Saturday) OR
$60 Registration Fee (Covers 4 consecutive runs: 2 Wednesdays and 2 Saturdays)
Method of Payment
Accepted: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover
Payments by card incur a 5% processing fee
Personal checks, starter checks, credit card checks are not accepted
Vehicle Check-In
Vehicles must arrive by 4:30 PM on Wednesday or 10:00 AM on Saturday to secure a spot in the sale
Vehicles should ideally arrive the day before the auction (Tuesday for Wednesday or Friday for Saturday)
Please ensure your vehicle is here as we cannot list vehicles not physically on the lot
Receiving Payment
Payment is issued via a guaranteed business check and is available 2 days after the sale, once the vehicle is paid for in full
Selling a Vehicle – Procedure
You must have a clear title in your name. A photo state issued ID is required.
Reconstructed Titles (R Titles), Salvage Certificates, and other title brands are accepted, but the title condition must be announced before bidding. Failure to announce the condition may void the sale.
Bring your vehicle to the auction for registration.
Remove all personal items from the vehicle, including your license plate, as the auction is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
The office clerk will request your title and the exact odometer reading (you are responsible for accurate mileage).
You must inform the auctioneer or office clerk of how you want to sell your vehicle and use the Light System Guide to determine the condition of sale. You, the seller, are responsible for the accuracy of this information.
When your vehicle is up for auction, stand by the auctioneer and communicate your desired sale price. Be honest with the auctioneer—he is there to help sell your vehicle. If you are unable to attend, an auction sales representative can assist for no additional fee.
After the final bid, the auctioneer will confirm the highest bid with you. You can accept or reject it. Once accepted, the vehicle is considered sold, and no changes can be made.
After accepting the bid, report to the office to sign off on your title. A seller’s fee will be deducted from the proceeds check if your vehicle sells.
If your vehicle does not sell during the first auction run, you may re-run it at the next three auctions. The vehicle must be present for each consecutive auction to take advantage of all available runs. Skipping an auction will forfeit your remaining runs.
